There is a stage right outside the casino on the riverfront where big acts of the likes of Aerosmith have played.
It has a decent bar at the back where you can kick back a beer or two looking over the river at the specks of light on Mount Washington and the Duquesne incline glowing red. But considering this is my first casino experience, it wasn't all that bad. I am pretty sure other casinos across the US would be better. In short, I didn't gamble and just went for the ambience. I didn't hit the slots or the poker room. Sitting pretty on the river banks, this casino at first glance seems large for a city like Pittsburgh, but upon closer inspection, you cant find a single slot machine empty for most parts of the day. For those who think Pittsburgh goes to sleep post evening, you should drop by the Rivers Casino.
